Metric 'Washdown' series feature 'multi-hole' drainage system which allows
fluids and debris to drain quickly through the 5 large drain holes formed in
the base of the hemispherical cup. Stainless steel balls run on a special
Stainless steel bearing support cup ensuring all internal working surfaces
resist corrosion to the maximum. Outer body is zinc coated steel. To allow
unimpeded drainage the felt seal is omitted in this range.
Our lightweight alloy-flanged versions offer either 2 or 3 counter bored
5.1mm holes for flush and secure pop riveting or fastening. Frequently used
to upgrade existing Air Cargo & Airport systems this unit is directly
interchangeable with many pressed "flying saucer" dimensions but offers
higher load capacity and resistance to debris and fluids.
